Jane has over 30 years of experience in the travel industry beginning with 17 years in leisure travel, 12 of which were spent running her own retail and online travel agency business. Jane then embraced travel technology. Since 2006, Jane has worked with travel technology suppliers in the business travel community including, ComBTAS and TRX (now a Concur/SAP company) and a business start up in the aviation sector, representing cutting edge technology in the aviation industry.
Since 2015, Jane has been heading up business development at T2RL. Providing better information to make better decisions.

Chris has been involved with both technology vendors (most notably Sabre, where he was the Chief Architect of Airline Solutions), and airlines including KLM, Qantas, Delta, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines. His primary focus is in integration, working with airlines to determine integration approaches.
He is a specialist in data, data modelling and data analysis, especially as it relates to “joining up the airline” – ensuring that data across the airline domains are properly linked giving the ability to derive meaning and value from the data from a variety of angles.
He was a featured keynote speaker at the ACM Distributed Event Based Systems conference, and has presented at IATA conferences on joining up the airline. Chris joins T2RL while assisting Southwest Airlines on their migration to Amadeus. He has specific focus on the live streaming data from Amadeus and its integration into both an immediate Operational Data Store and downstream revenue and loyalty applications.

Richard has extensive experience in front line PSS negotiations for more than 40 airlines covering multiple business models including full service, hybrid and more recently LCC and ULCC. Richard has more than 30 years of experience in airline technology including direct and indirect distribution.
Richard speaks regularly at conferences and has written for travel publications such as Airline Business and IATA’s Airlines International. Richard has lived in the UK, France, Spain, Thailand, and China. He has a BA in Business Finance and Accounting from Coventry Business School in the UK.

Bert has 30 years of experience in information technology in a variety of sectors including insurance, banking, education, software development, property sales and management. He has spent the last 14 years in the airline industry as Chief Architect and Head of Strategy & Architecture at easyJet and now leads T2RL’s technology consulting and procurement practice.
Bert’s role focuses on business and IT strategy, architecture and sourcing engagements with T2RL’s clients. These include business design, enterprise architecture, target operating models, organisational design and strategic sourcing. Additionally, Bert has experience of IT and Digital Transformation programmes as well as both buy- and sell-side M&A activities.
Bert is based in the UK and travels extensively supporting T2RL’s clients. Since 2015 Bert has been involved in over 50 airline customer engagements involving 30 carriers.

Over 18 years of software development experience in various fields
Gabor has worked at multiple firms as a developer, while earning the skills from low level programming and system architecture to medium scale multi-threaded application development. He has worked together with Barnabas as a full-stack developer using web technologies since 2014.
Gabor has a bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering from University of Science, Pecs, Hungary.

Tomas López Fernebrand, former Secretary of the Board of Directors of Amadeus, and member of its Executive Committee until December 2021.
As General Counsel of Amadeus he supervised the legal function and the Risk and Compliance Office, in addition to leading the Industry Affairs unit with worldwide responsibilities for Government relations, ESG reporting and sustainability programmes. In his role as Corporate Secretary, he led the Internal Audit and CISO areas. In 1999 and 2005, he guided the Group through the legal and regulatory steps required for the company’s IPO (1999), and leveraged buy-out (2005) with the private equity firms BC Partners and Cinven, and Air France, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, and Iberia. In April 2010, he successfully led the Group through the proceedings for an IPO in the Madrid Stock Exchange.He served as the first Chairman of the newly created European Technology and Travel Services Association (ETTSA), now EU Travel Tech, a Belgian non-profit association based in Brussels with membership composed of Global Distribution Systems, on-line Travel Agencies, and other industry stakeholders. As of April 2022, Tomas is a member of the KPMG Tourism Advisory Board, an influential group of Spanish executives with a longstanding history in the sector. The mission of this group is to draw on the knowledge and experience of its members to understand the evolution and trends of the tourism sector in Spain.
From mid-January 2023, Tomas has also been appointed as Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of Travel Technology Research Ltd (T2RL), a global leader specialising in procurement processes for complex technology, across the range of commercial and operational systems required by airlines, and in the development, planning and implementation of cost-effective distribution strategies.
Tomas holds a Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, Spain and an MBA from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He is a native of Gothenburg, Sweden and a Spanish national.

Emma has nearly 20 years experience working in the B2B market research space, of which 15 years have been within the travel industry.
After working within Amadeus for seven years leading the research and intelligence function for Asia Pacific, Emma joined T2RL as Research Manager in 2013 and has worked her way up to Head of Content.
In her current role Emma is responsible for the content curated within the T2RL Insight Portal specifically covering areas such as the PSS, Revenue Management, Dynamic Pricing, Distribution, NDC, Loyalty and direct booking tools.
Emma is able to apply her varied research methodology and analytical skills with her in-depth knowledge of the travel industry to develop actionable and relevant insight for our airline clients and IT vendors alike.

Caroline has 38 years of airline experience with roles including Contact Centre Manager, Head of Distribution and Head of Commercial Systems. She has enabled two PSS migrations and one PSS implementation. Caroline is experienced in PSS integrations and projects such as Revenue Management, OTAs, staff travel solutions, payment providers, codeshare, IET, IATCI.

Nathalie has over 25 years of experience in the airline and travel agency business having held various commercial roles at Amadeus IT Group SA for 20 years encompassing distribution, passenger servicing systems, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
Nathalie is responsible for the analysis of airline IT requirements, issuing of RFPs, analysis of responses, preparation of reports and recommendations to management, negotiation and contracting for a wide variety of airline solutions. Nathalie is a British/Belgian national with a multicultural background having lived and worked in a variety of different countries in Europe and Latin America. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Nathalie holds a European Business Administration degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Reims, France and London Middlesex University, England, an MBA in Digital Marketing and ecommerce with the Online Business School of Barcelona, Spain and a Masters in Executive Management in ESADE Business School.

Paul has over 20 years’ experience culminating from senior roles within Qantas Airways and Amadeus focusing on the analysis of needs and requirements with the design and implementation of the most cost-effective solutions to effectively manage the TCO of the PSS and supporting systems within Airlines. Paul has a technology and solutions background with a commercial and contracting emphasis and has managed the non-functional aspects of more than 150 RFP processes over a 20+ year timeline from an Airline and Vendor perspective globally with a focus on Asia-Pacific.
Paul has attained this knowledge through more than one-hundred successful sales and consulting engagements with Airlines and now supports T2RL clients extract the best Service Management capabilities from the Services as required by the Business function. Paul is based in Sydney Australia and Wroclow, Poland and supports T2RL clients globally.

Yuna has over 17 years experience across large legacy and smaller hybrid airlines, as well as corporate agency. She is passionate about travel and distribution transformation’s potential to unlock value for our industry.
Drawing on her experience in a variety of roles, spanning Loyalty, Customer Service, Procurement, Operations, GDS negotiations and Digital Product management and Strategy; she understands the challenges and opportunities businesses face across people, process and technology. Before joining T2RL Yuna was responsible for the Commercial, Loyalty, Alliances and Distribution product portfolio at Air New Zealand.
Originally from Europe, Yuna is fluent in English and French. She is based in New Zealand and has worked extensively with teams in the Americas, Asia, Australasia and Europe over the years.

Paul started as a reservations agent for Thomas Cook and has progressed through many different roles including business analysis, software development, project management, product management and solution design. Paul has worked on PSS related projects for airlines, OTAs. Before joining T2RL Paul headed up the Solution Design team and SITA PSS.
Paul has a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Management from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Jonathan is a life-long Airline Technology specialist and has worked as both Systems and Business Analyst for airlines and GDSs all over the world. Prior to joining T2RL, he worked at Amadeus for nearly 20 years in a variety of roles including Senior Presales Manager for 15 years, consulting on systems and business requirements for over 50 airlines in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Jonathan’s role at T2RL includes curation of T2RL’s RFP products as well as consulting engagements on all aspects of airline technology, business requirements gathering, contract negotiation etc with both vendors and airline customers. He is based in Chicago, USA.

Over 12 years professional experience in bespoke software development
Barnabas has built many web- and mobile applications using the latest technologies of the industry. He is highly experienced in developing in-house data management and process automation systems. Since joining T2RL he is solely focused on delivering value via ProcureIT® to our clients.
Barnabas is a self-thought full-stack developer and advocate of extreme programming. His portfolio covers a wide array of technologies from custom-built realtime betting engines to data encoding solutions for the fintech industry.

Daver has over 20 years’ experience in the travel technology and distribution space. Daver’s responsibilities throughout his career encompassed business development, general management, regional commercial leadership and IT consulting services. Daver has extensive experience in the GDS domain, channel and distribution technology, IT services evaluation and user adoption program. A passionate technologist, Daver believes technology as an enabler for service innovation and is very excited about T2RL’s unique position to support the airline industry in realising this potential.
Daver is a Canadian with Swedish and Hong Kong roots. As a licensed engineer of the Professional Engineer of Ontario, Canada, Daver holds Bachelor Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Queen’s University, Canada and an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree from the College of Technology Management, National Tsinghua University, Taiwan. Daver is fluent in English and Chinese.

Candice is an expert in airline commercial programs. She started off her airline career in Corporate Programs at Delta Air Lines, running the data, analytics and strategy for negotiated corporate contracts. She then joined the Sales Strategy team at American Airlines and went on to lead the Agency Programs team which contracted with TMCs, leisure and business agencies. After that, Candice joined Revenue Management where she led the Contracted Pricing team, managing the fare programs and special pricing for TMCs, leisure agencies, and corporate customers.
Candice received her Bachelor’s from Duke University and her Master’s from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

An experienced commercial leader with broad experience in the airline industry, including management roles in Distribution, Corporate and Agency Sales, Revenue Management, Payment and Commercial Strategy.
Ian’s most recent roles include Global Sales Synergies Manager at IAG, Head of Distribution at British Airways and VP Distribution & Product Development, Qatar Airways. Ian lead British Airways’ change of distribution model in 2017 and the negotiation of new commercial and technology agreements with a range of third parties, including GDSs, Travel Agencies, and NDC Aggregators. To enable this, Ian established a new business and technology unit with team of two hundred business and IT people to provide direct connect API solutions for all 3rd party sellers. Ian then went on to lead Qatar Airways’ combined GDS and PSS negotiations in 2021 before moving to his current role at T2RL.
Core competencies include: Negotiation, Sales, Commercial and IT Strategy, Airline Distribution and Technology, Analytics, System Planning and Integration, Operations Research, and Data Architecture.

Shreeda joined us in 2016 as a Research Analyst with a background in Advertising, Media and Market research. Through her journey at T2RL, she has worked on all primary and secondary related research and analysis and has helped with further expanding the team in Mumbai, India.
Prior to T2RL, Shreeda has worked with Google in their SMB department dealing with project management and customer portfolio planning. She has also worked with Lodestar group in the Media planning department for renowned brands in India.
After spending 6 years at T2RL, Shreeda now manages the Research team in Mumbai.

In a career spanning forty-five years, Mike has focussed on technology and transformation in
Travel & Transport. He has worked in executive management roles and led major programmes
of change for global organisations such as Tui, TNT and Avis.As a consultant, Mike has advised and guided a broad spectrum of travel technology providers,
from start-up companies to the sector leaders. Airline clients include Air New Zealand, Philippine
Airlines, Jetstar, LATAM, Maldivian Airways, Sun Country, Caribbean Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Sky
Airlines, Thai Airways and Copa Airlines. Mike was based in Fiji for four years, where he led the
acclaimed rebranding and restructuring of the national airline.Born in the UK but something of a global gypsy, Mike has also lived in Panama and the
Netherlands and has been resident in New Zealand for the past decade.

Nick Moore has over 15 years of experience in the technology research and advisory sector, spending the past 11 years as an Executive Advisor with Gartner’s Executive Programs. Working with CIOs to reduce risk and ‘go to market time’, Nick helped his clients develop business-centric IT strategies that successfully leverage people, process and technology, that delivered real business outcomes.
Having spent many years sat on the end user side of the technology procurement fence, Nick fundamentally understands the criteria and behaviours that drive many strategic vendor/solution decisions. He now brings this insight to T2RL’s vendor clients.

Edward Nicol has over 45 years’ experience in aviation and related fields. He worked for Cathay Pacific Airways in many roles including sales, distribution and revenue management and latterly as CIO. Amongst other positions, he was CEO of Tenzing the inflight connectivity provider, Asian Frequent Flyer the multi-airline frequent flyer programme and for ten years was on the supervisory and main boards of SITA including stints on the audit and risk management committee, the strategy committee and as Vice Chairman. He was on the board of On Air and is currently a director of Currency Alliance the loyalty programme platform.
He has lived and worked in more than twenty countries.

Lois has over 20 years experience in product/service and strategic marketing. This includes global launches and product/service development. She has worked extensively on brand development and positioning projects to drive awareness and thought leadership, as well as developing category campaigns to drive growth.
Lois has lived and worked in Germany and the UK. She holds a BA Hons in International Business Administration from the Fachhochschule Reutlingen, Germany and Middlesex University, UK. She is fluent in German and English.

Gary is an independent consultant, based in Abu Dhabi, specialising in the aviation industry with extensive expertise in revenue management, pricing distribution, strategy, distribution, reservations, offer management, and staff travel. He is an experienced and results driven leader in a broad range
of revenue management activities and projects. Gary has successfully led two major PSS transformations focusing on Revenue Management (Offer) and Reservations & Ticketing. Gary is an active member of the global staff travel industry and was a member of the management council of the ZED/MIBA Forum. He has provided many innovative solutions for staff travel, leading industry focus on NDC, Offer & Order for staff travel, regularly speaking at industry events. Gary was an employee of Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, from 2009 to 2023, his most recent role being Director, Revenue Development, Ancillary & Distribution. He was responsible for Innovation & Solutions, Business Analytics, Ancillary Revenue, Distribution & the employee Staff Travel programme. He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of a joint venture with Amadeus. Prior to this, Gary held various revenue management roles focused on building revenue management teams and driving change in processes and revenue delivery. Throughout his 35+ years in the airline industry he also worked for carriers such as Qatar Airways, British Airways
and American Airlines.

Fiona Sturrock has nearly 30 years of experience as a lawyer and intellectual property specialist. For over 11 years, she was responsible for The Walt Disney Company’s anti-piracy programs and IPR enforcement initiatives throughout Asia-Pacific.
British born, Fiona grew up in New Zealand, attended university there and worked for a blue chip law firm, before moving on to a boutique IP firm and subsequently relocating to Hong Kong where she lived and worked for more than 16 years until relocating to Sydney, Australia with T2RL, 10 years ago. Fiona is responsible for preparing template contracts, reviewing and revising legal documents and providing legal advice with a particular focus on IP protection.

Ian Tunnacliffe has more than 40 years experience of the application of information technology to the needs of the airline industry. He has worked with airlines, the major GDS companies and multiple technology suppliers. He has held positions including Development Director at Galileo, Head of Airline Sales at Amadeus and Head of Passenger Services at British Airways’ Speedwing subsidiary. In 2005 he was a founder of Travel Technology Research Ltd.
In recent years he has participated in the working groups at IATA defining the NDC and ONE Order standards. He was a member of the NDC Interline working group and a founder member of the ONE Order working group.
He is a frequent writer and speaker on the strategic issues around technology and distribution.

Robin Wallace has over fifteen years of experience as a director of technology solutions for the travel industry. This has involved work as a web developer, technical product expert, hardware engineer, team leader and strategy advisor. He is regarded as an expert in e-commerce user interface, content management, data structures, back-office data, white labelling and internationalisation.
Robin has been responsible for the delivery of web platforms and sites to lastminute.com, Travelocity, Sabre, BAA, Emirates, National Rail, Opodo, Kuoni, Thomas Cook and Expedia. Robin also manages and develops our own T2RL websites.

Camelia joined us from Amadeus where she was a marketing support executive, during which time she gained a broad understanding and interest in the travel and software industry. She joined T2RL as a research analyst, has already built a PSS research database with forensic precision and runs the Mumbai research team.
Prior to Amadeus Camelia completed an International Baccalaureate in India, and a BSc Honours in Business Management at Royal Holloway University, London. She has also experience working at Deutsche Bank and Taj Resorts and Hotels.After spending 5 years in the UK, Camelia is now working for T2RL from Mumbai, India as an overseas research consultant on new projects as well as updating old ones and keeping our database updated.

Experienced IT Executive, with strong leadership and management skills gained in an international and competitive environment. Francois has successfully led the technology infrastructure strategy in the design, implementation and development of complex software for airlines (reservation, inventory, revenue management, departure control) and for travel agents (air, hotel, car).
In particular, he has led the development of the Amadeus software on Open Systems and led successfully the migration from Legacy TPF and played a key role in moving the Platform to micro-services and to Cloud readiness.
Francois was head of IT Commercial Applications at Air France and SVP of Information Technology at Amadeus for over 20 years.

Dieter is an independent senior aviation consultant and an expert in airline revenue management, pricing, distribution & reservations, NDC and offer management, based in Abu Dhabi. He is an active Editorial Board member of the Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management and was until recently also a member of the IATA Distribution Advisory Council and the IATA Shop & Order Standard Board. Dieter speaks regularly at industry events and has published various papers about revenue management, pricing and NDC. From October 2014 to March 2021 Dieter was an employee of Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE. As VP Revenue Management and a member of the executive team, he was responsible for revenue management, pricing, eCommerce and GDS distribution. Before this role Dieter held a position with Sabre UK Marketing working with various airlines on improving their revenue management work processes. Throughout his 30+ years in the airline business he also worked for carriers such as Qatar Airways, Swiss, Lufthansa and Swissair.
